TWACS Meter Integration Certification (1.5 days)

This hands-on course is designed for anyone involved in the process of troubleshooting Aclara transponders and is mandatory for anyone integrating TWACS modules into new or existing meters.

The class covers hardware and software integration of the Universal Metering Transponder-Residential (UMT-R) and Universal Metering Transponder-Commercial (UMT-C) in the I-210 (or the Focus AL) and kV2c meters.

Water MTU Cert (1.5 days)

This course is intended for the installer/technician who will be responsible for installing and programming STAR Meter Transmission Units (MTUs) on water meters.

The class covers mounting, wiring, best practices, and use of the Aclara RF Programmer in detail. The course includes classroom sessions, as well as hands-on field application training.

DCU Cert and T-Board Retrofit Kit Class (1.5 days)

This course is intended for the installer/technician responsible for installing and maintaining Aclara RF Data Collector Units (DCUs).

This course covers assembly and installation of pole-mount, roof-mount, and other DCU configurations, along with DCU commissioning procedures. Repair and replacement of major components as well as migration from the J-board transceiver to the T-board are also taught.
